Gosh, the last two days sure have been stressful. When Miss Barb and Mister Earl took me to the Doggie Hospital, I never dreamed they were going to leave me there all night.
It was scary. There were some furry little creatures in a crate next to me and all night they cried meow, meow, meow. Just when I thought I couldn't stand it any longer, a nice lady came in and poked me. Soon, I began to feel more relaxed and the little creatures seemed to fade away.
I was embarrassed when I woke up... I had peed on my blanket... Oh my, I never do that... wonder what was in that shot?
But... No one was mad at me... Instead, I was allowed to sleep on another blanket with a cord on it. I think I heard someone say that it was something called a heating pad. Boy... I took advantage of that and stretched out for a couple of hours.
Wish I could have brought that heating pad home so I could use it when Mister Earl leaves the window open at night. grrrrrrrr! Or should I say brrrrrrrr?
I think Miss Barb could use some of that stuff that was in my shot too. Not because she pees on her blanket or anything like that, it's just that she gets stressed out over stupid stuff!
Anyway... My operation went well and now I don't have to worry about any male dogs that might come sniffing around.
Oh, I almost forgot to tell you... I have a little eye infection too, so now I have medicine for that. It's pretty hard to keep from wink'n and blink'n when Miss Barb puts it in my eye.
I know Miss Barb and Mister Earl are glad I'm home, even though the ransom was just a whisker over $400.
I'm too tired for kisses today, but I promise I'll double up next time.

New Best Friend
Yep... I have a new Best Friend and she only has two legs! Her name is Dr. Barry, but she likes to be called Amanda. She is the vet where Miss Barb and Mister Earl took me today. I liked when she gave me treats and talked really nice to me.
My other Vet is nice too, but I only see her when I'm due to have shots. Ugh... I'm not so crazy about that!
The best part was when Dr. Barry called me perfect! She said I had nice ears, teeth and coat. I guess Miss Barb was right when she said that taking a bath and having my ears cleaned would pay off. Imagine that!
This is my show-off pose. Love and kisses,

A walk before the storm.
Miss Barb took me for a walk while the sun was still shinning. I snooped here and there while she tinkered with her camera. Every now and then I heard her say words that I didn't understand and I think they must have been bad words by the tone of her voice.
We walked along the road called Wild Berry Lane and ended up at our neighbor's pond. Usually, I don't like to get wet, but today I felt very brave.
I think Miss Barb is getting a little better with the manual settings on her camera. This picture is my favorite.
By the time we got back, I was tuckered out and needed a rest. But I wasn't able to curl up for very long because a big black cloud came and we had to high-tail it for the house! Soon, it began to thunder and lightning and it rained like crazy!
Slobbery, puppy kisses,

Can you see me now?
Please, oh please, let me in! I promise I won't chew up any more papers from the wastebasket... or the stuffing from the comfy pillow you put in my bed... or the pencil from the end table... or Mister Earl's brand new hat... or the end off my leash.
Promise! Promise! Promise!
The rain is a good thing, but it makes everyone around here sooooo grumpy. They could all use a good dose of vitamin D. I sure hope someone opens the door pretty soon.
See 'ya when the sun shines in Pennsylvania.
Soggy hugs,
Promise! Promise! Promise!
